Alpine Jacket Bark
Great jacket, especially for active persons

The jacket generates a great microclimate, and doesn’t leave you feeling hot or cold, but in a comfortable middle. I wear this in 20F range weather in the US Northeast, and even with wind chills down to single digits, I was able to survive wearing this jacket and a short sleeve polo (not that I recommend doing that). With a mid layer, I would probably be toasty. The only negative I have, is that the pockets are shell pockets and not handwarmer pockets... It would also be nice to have a chest pocket, like most modern soft shells, but not a big deal or a showstopper. It’s arguably lighter in weight than a competing soft shell filled with 100gm of Climashield, but this jacket is just as warm and functional..
